EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
We believe that children must be exposed and transported to events that broaden their view of the world. These experiences include access at all age levels to mentoring programs and educational field trips. We believe that all children should be encouraged to pursue a career that utilizes science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
Arrow Initiatives partners with other organizations to provide transportation and admission to a wide variety of events that range from fine arts to educational workshops. Field trips can include STEM workshops, theatrical performances, trips to visit museums and historical monuments, college tours, and family-oriented overnight trips.
BUILDING SELF ESTEEM
We believe that providing basic hygiene products and material needs for those in need decreases bullying and boosts children’s confidence improving their ability to focus and learn in school. This includes necessary school supplies, clothing, and anything children need to be successful.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Arrow Initiatives awards educational scholarships to students of all ages from pre-kindergarten to graduate school, both nationally and internationally. Our scholarships can be used toward attendance at any accredited school or university.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Giving back to the community is an important part of the mission of Arrow Initiatives. We believe that community service by students is important in teaching leadership, compassion and empathy. No matter what they may be going through, they learn that there is always someone who has less or is suffering more.
